Frequently asked questions

Is simplified accounting enough?

For a sole proprietorship or partnership with turnover below CHF 500’000, the law allows accounts of revenue, expenses and assets. Above that, full accounting is required.

Can I deduct my home office?

A share of rent and costs may be accepted if a room is used regularly and is necessary for the business. It must be justifiable: we help you document it.

When should I set money aside for tax?

As soon as you are paid: tax on your self-employed income is not withheld at source. We help you estimate a realistic provision.
